Audrey Hepburn on the set of Breakfast at Tiffany's - onlookers watch from the background as the scene is filmed.
Here are some behind-the-scene images of Hepburn on set with cast and crew. It's no wonder a song as beautiful as Moon River was inspired by her -- it was written by Henry Mancini to suit her vocal range and character. Truman Capote wasn't happy with director Blake Edwards' choice of Hepburn for the film and wanted Marilyn Monroe, but I really couldn't imagine anyone else as Holly Golightly now. She really made the character her own. For more fun tidbits and pictures, I'd recommend Sam Wasson's book Fifth Avenue at 5 a.m.
